Pop-punk legends blink-182 have just premiered “Up All Night”, the first single from their upcoming sixth studio album and the band’s first in eight years. “Up All Night” has actually existed in some form since 2009, but was never actually released because the band never finished recording it.
Two years later, the song has finally been released in its full form, with the band posting it on their official website and debuting it on Los Angeles radio station KROQ. “Up All Night” sounds like classic Blink — not the energetic, fun Blink you hear on their other lead singles — but that’s forgivable considering the fact that the band has already been around for nearly two decades. Times have changed, and we’re okay with it.
What do you think? You can listen to the single after the break.
If you remember Wale‘s debut album, the DC rapper was completely outdone by guest feature J. Cole on “Beautiful Bliss”. Mr. Folarin obviously wasn’t that embarrassed, as “Bad Girls Club”, the first official single from Ambition, once again features J. Cole. This time, however, Cole doesn’t completely outrap Wale, with pretty lackluster verses all around. Check it out for yourself below.
Ambition, Wale’s first album on Maybach Music Group, is set to be released this fall.
Timez are indeed getting a bit weird as Theophilus London‘s debut album approaches its release date of July 19th. When a snippet of a brand new Theophilus track was included in the HBO trailer for season two of How To Make It In America, we were all eager to hear the full version. Now, first single “I Stand Alone” has debuted in its full form… on Wired.com?
It’s certainly an odd place for the Brooklyn rapper to debut his first single, but nevertheless, check out the jam below.
Wale links up with Big Sean and B.o.B on “First Class”, a brand new Raz Fresco-produced track. The track features the three freshmen alumni trying to outdo each other. Solid verses all around from an all star cast.
It’s currently unclear whether or not the cut will appear on Wale’s upcoming sophomore album and his first since making the switch to Maybach Music. As he says on the track, Wale’s setting out to “renovate the game” after a rather disappointing debut album. Check out the song below.
Track: “Trouble On My Mind (feat. Tyler, The Creator)”
Artist: Pusha T
Release Date: July 9, 2011
Label: GOOD Music/Def Jam
Pusha T always has his drugdealer past on his mind (and in his verses), but this time, the Clipse rapper teams up with Odd Future‘s Tyler, The Creator to discuss the trouble on his mind. The first single from Pusha’s upcoming mixtape Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray, “Trouble On My Mind” features simplistic, atmospheric, and ultimately haunting production from The Neptunes and three on-point verses. Pusha spins a story about his troubled past before handing the mic to Tyler, who delivers a maniacal verse in his signature style. The two then split the third verse, with Tyler referencing his highly-successful single, “Yonkers”, and Pusha T closing by addressing the mismatch between himself and Tyler: “This is for the critics who doubted the chemistry/Two different worlds, same symmetry.” Thankfully for us, he’s right; despite the stylistic differences on paper, the collaboration simply works.
“Trouble On My Mind (feat. Tyler, The Creator)” is from Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray, set to be released on August 23, 2011 via GOOD Music/Def Jam.

It has been over a decade since the death of legendary frontman of Sublime, Bradley Nowell. Two years ago, on August 31, 2009, the remaining members of the band announced that the band would be reuniting with a young boy by the name of Rome Ramirez. Many fans grew angry, but over the last two years, Rome has impressed fans from all over the world. Sublime with Rome have released a stream for their new album, Yours Truly. Listen to the entire album below.
Mumford & Sons dropped by Colorado radio station KBCO the other day to perform a brand new song titled “Home”. The English folk-rock/pop band announced at Glastonbury a few days ago that they have been recording a new studio album, set to be released later this year. “Home” is rumored to be included on the new album, which will be the band’s follow-up to the critically-acclaimed debut Sigh No More.
Check out the live studio recording of “Home” below.
Track: “Run (feat. Kid Cudi)”
Artist: The Knux
Release Date: July 1, 2011
Label: Cherrytree/Interscope
Kid Cudi-featuring “Run” is the second song to drop from rap-rock duo The Knux, who will be releasing their sophomore effort later this year. It’s the same fresh, innovative sound that we’ve already heard from the hip hop duo, combined with the experimental rock sound that Cudi has been focusing on lately. But while Cudi’s new individual work has fallen quite flat (see “Perfect Is The Word”), “Run” is fun — it’s light-hearted, good-natured rock-rap, perfect for the summer months. There isn’t much substance here, but if you’re going to be anywhere near the sun for the next few months, it might be a good idea to keep “Run” on your playlist.
“Run (feat. Kid Cudi)” is from Eraser, set to be released in September via Cherrytree/Interscope.
