Listen: Com Truise – “Chemical Legs”

Com Truise always sounds at peace when he’s programs his synthesizer, so there’s no surprise that his new song “Chemical Legs”, the latest contribution to Adult Swim’s Singles Program is a stunner. What may come as a surprise, however, is that the New Jersey-based musician features his own vocals for the first time as he half-talks, half-sings over the semi-robotic, Daft Punk like synth trance that we’ve grown to love and expect from Truise.

Adult Swim will continue to release a brand new exclusive song for three more weeks to complete the 12 week, 12 song plan. We’ve already heard new material from artists like FlyLo and Wavves. Next up is Yamantaka//Sonic Titan, which we’ll hear next Monday.

Fucked Up and Wavves Tour

Fucked Up and Wavves will be co-headlining a tour this fall. While the two bands are very different in genre, both have had critically acclaimed albums recently with Wavves‘ King of the Beach and Fucked Up‘s David Comes to Life. Now Wavves will be releasing a new EP titled Life Sux on September 20, which has a track featuring co-headliners Fucked Up. Read more to see the tour dates.

Weezer Cruise

Weezer frontman, Rivers Cuomo, has announced a 4 day cruise that starts at Miami and ends at Cozumel. This odd, but luxurious cruise includes free 24-hour room service, a casino, hot tubs, pools, gourmet dining and more. Weezer will be joined by Dinosaur Jr., Wavves, The Antlers, Yuck, Free Energy, Keepaway, Boom Bip, Gene Ween, Dave Dreiwitz, The Knocks and more.
