Sublime With Rome Stream
It has been over a decade since the death of legendary frontman of Sublime, Bradley Nowell. Two years ago, on August 31, 2009, the remaining members of the band announced that the band would be reuniting with a young boy by the name of Rome Ramirez. Many fans grew angry, but over the last two years, Rome has impressed fans from all over the world. Sublime with Rome have released a stream for their new album, Yours Truly. Nate Ruess, vocalist of fun., took some time to talk with Lost in the Sound. fun. is currently on the Vices and Virtues tour with Panic! at the Disco and Funeral Party. Two years after releasing critically acclaimed album,Aim and Ignite, the band is finally working on a sophomore album. Nate talked about the current tour, the new album, and more. Nate: It’s been really fun. People are super nice and there’s been nothing to complain about. A very stock answer, but true.
LitS: You always describe fun.’s live shows as a “whirling dervish” of music. Has anything changed from these live shows over the years?
Nate: No. It still feels kind of the same. There’s still a kind of raw energy to the shows where we’re always smiling.
LitS: Are there any differences between your live shows with fun. and The Format?)
Nate: Yeah, of course. There’s been different songs and a whole different bunch of things. Aside from me, everything is totally different. (more…)
New ZAK! Track
A couple of months ago we interviewed ZAK! after the release of his mixtape, Stuck to the Sidewalk. You can read the interview here. The Wonder Years Album Stream
The Wonder Years have released a stream of their new highly anticipated album, Suburbia I’ve Given You All And Now I’m Nothing, which will be released on June 14 on Hopeless Records. You can listen to the stream and pre-order the album on their website here.
The band will be performing a hometown CD release show at the Starlight Ballroom in Philadelphia on June 14th with Fireworks, Mixtapes, and Hostage Calm. This album is highly recommended for pop-punk lovers because it’s one of the best pop-punk albums I’ve heard in a long time.
Hellogoodbye Announce Tour
Platinum selling indie-pop band Hellogoodbye has announced a tour to support their album, Would It Kill You?, which was released last winter. They will kick off the tour with a run of shows before this summer’s Warped Tour. Hellogoodbye will begin this weekend in the UK playing with bands Gold Motel and The Dangerous Summer. After the UK they will play a couple shows with Mansions, Therapies Son, TS & The Past Haunts, and more. There main post-Warped Tour US tour will be played with Fences, Fake Problems, and A Great Big Pile of Leaves. Read more to see the tour dates.
