Watch: MT – “Alpha Romeo”

Hailing from the UK, MT have released a euphoric indie pop track called Alpha Romeo. Produced by Dan Grech (The Vaccines, Lana Del Ray) this new single is a pop anthem of seismic proportions, complete with hook-laden melodies, an unshakeable rhythm section, and the catchiest of choruses. The accompanying B-side, titled 77 produced by Charlie Huggall (Florence and The Machine) continues in the same vein with massive pop hooks and thunderous synths. Florence and the Machine enlisted the help of Toronto R&B singer The Weeknd to remix their brand new single, “Shake It Out”. The remix will be available on iTunes on October 2nd along with the original track and another remix by Italian DJ Benny Benassi. You can check out the song now below.

“Shake It Out” will be included on Florence’s new album Ceremonials, set to drop on October 31 in the UK via Island. U.S. release information has yet to be announced. You can listen to the original track after the break.

Drake Works With The xx and Florence and the Machine

According to NME, Drake is working with The xx‘s Jamie Smith and Florence and the Machine‘s Florence Welch. Smith says that he has been working with Drake on the rapper’s upcoming album Take Care. Drake has also announced that he may appear on the new Florence and the Machine record.
