Curren$y’s forthcoming record is entitled The Stoned Immaculate and will hit stores on June 5th. In the meantime, he’ll be embarking on the “Jet Life: The Stoned Immaculate” tour later this month, as well as releasing the video for “What It Look Like” on April 8th.
Ambition will be Wale’s first since joining Rick Ross‘s Maybach Music Group. No word on the tracklisting as of right now.
No days off for Wale, especially not on #WaleWednesday. A few hours ago, the Washington DC based rapper just released a brand new song called “Ocean Drive” featuring collaborations from fellow MMG member Magazeen and long-time collaborators Black Cobain and Tre. The new song has a tropical vibe and includes a reggae hook. Since Wale made the switch to Maybach Music Group, the quality of Wale’s work has gradually improved and he drops some pretty smooth lines on this track, returning to his pre-Attention Deficit days.

Once Wale reaches a million followers on Twitter, he’ll be dropping another 11 songs for us. If you aren’t already following him, you can do so here. Ambition, Wale’s second studio album, arrives November 1.
If you remember Wale‘s debut album, the DC rapper was completely outdone by guest feature J. Cole on “Beautiful Bliss”. Mr. Folarin obviously wasn’t that embarrassed, as “Bad Girls Club”, the first official single from Ambition, once again features J. Cole. This time, however, Cole doesn’t completely outrap Wale, with pretty lackluster verses all around. Check it out for yourself below.
Ambition, Wale’s first album on Maybach Music Group, is set to be released this fall.
Wale links up with Big Sean and B.o.B on “First Class”, a brand new Raz Fresco-produced track. The track features the three freshmen alumni trying to outdo each other. Solid verses all around from an all star cast.
It’s currently unclear whether or not the cut will appear on Wale’s upcoming sophomore album and his first since making the switch to Maybach Music. As he says on the track, Wale’s setting out to “renovate the game” after a rather disappointing debut album. Check out the song below.
